Welcome!

Hello, Haste1066, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for helping us build a great free encyclopedia. We have five basic principles, but other than that, we advise that you be bold and edit. If you ever have any questions or need help, feel free to leave a message at the help desk, and other Wikipedia editors will be happy to assist you.

Thanks again and congratulations on becoming a Wikipedian!

P.S. New discussion threads for you will appear at the bottom of this page.

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Since you contributed File:John Borling and Wife.JPG, an intimate portrait of Borling and his wife, which you claim as your own work, I presume that you are closely related to Borling. You should read and understand Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy (as well as the policy on autobiographies, if that applies). Writing about yourself or subjects close to you is strongly discouraged due to the difficulty of mainting a neutral point of view. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:42, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Library work

[edit]

On my user talk page you wrote "I work for a military Library and we do this for any notable officers we have texts or artifacts of. for a military Library and we do this for any notable officers we have texts or artifacts of." I note that General Borling is the only topic about which you've written. What other subjects has your library covered? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 01:25, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Louise Elisabeth Robertson

[edit]

Hi, I'm Megalibrarygirl. Haste1066, thanks for creating Louise Elisabeth Robertson!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I did a search for sources on this author and didn't come up with any reviews of her work. I am also having trouble finding additional sources to expand the article. If you have additional references from reliable sources, please add them or this article will face deletion. The author may be WP:TOOSOON.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aunt Bessie's Pork Chitterlings, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2601:188:180:11F0:A1F5:62DB:9D7F:C96B (talk) 15:53, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of CSaaS

A tag has been placed on CSaaS, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia.
