Please contribute to one of the following already existing pages. Your draft is good and deserves to be on Wikipedia. You're more experienced on this subject than me. Two pages at Mauser Model 1895 and Mauser Model 1898 rifle already exist. Anarchyte (work | talk) 06:31, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Mauser 1895 is made 3 years before the Karabiner 98k (Different service history + Design + variants + countries of use) also there is brief reference to the Mauser Model 1895 under Swedish M1894 rifle heading on the Mauser page, which fails to mention the Mauser Model 1895 involvement in the Argentina/Chile arms race, the need for the weapon after the jameson raid, reasons why the weapon contract between GWM and the South African Government wasnt fulfilled, No extensive description on the design, all the countries of use and mention of variants. The snippet mentioned in "Swedish M1894 rifle" does not fully cover the history, design or variants of the Mauser Model 1895 and while the Mauser page does mention the Mauser Model 1895, it also does mention the Mauser Model 1871, Mauser Model 1889 etc that are briefly mentioned in the Mauser page but still have their own Main Article page (with the same amount or much less information).Heemrad (talk) 08:23, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get an admin to delete the redirect and then I'll accept the draft, if that's what you wish... Anarchyte (work | talk) 08:30, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Need help finding Pictures[edit]

If anyone can please provide or know where to find free to use pictures of a Chilean Mauser Model 1895 bolt action rifle that will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, perhaps use search engines or the WP:Reference desk. If you can freely load them yourself, see WP:Upload. SwisterTwister talk 19:58, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the advice ill definitely give it a look and thanks for reviewing my article, i hopefully fixed the issue of my article being an orphan and linked articles Lee-Enfield,Second Boer War, Mauser,Pattern 1913 Enfield,Military history of Australia during the Second Boer War,Service rifle,Type 38 rifle,.303 British to it.Heemrad (talk) 07:38, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Try using flickr to find pictures. Remember to read WP:FLICKR first, it'll detail what you can and can't upload from that site. Anarchyte (work | talk) 11:09, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Anarchyte for the link, but unfortunately nothing turned up :(, i tried creative commons as well but to no avail.I Was hoping a wikipedia user would have the rifle and could take photos of it because free to use pictures of the rifle just seems to not be available but thanks for the assistance.Heemrad (talk) 05:48, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
