Right-- a flawed image is better than none, temporarily... I'll sometimes "clean up" an image as with File:Cloistered Nun Runa's Confession.jpg, but the watermark on the Zoom In film was in a sensitive area which couldn't very well have been "cleaned". Cannibal Holocaust

Hello. I understand why you reversed my edit. Do you know which countries did not ban Cannibal Holocaust? I think it would be good if the article listed the few countries that allowed it when it came out. From my online searching, it seems as if Japan and South Korea allowed it, but I can't find an official-looking website for a reference. Regards Epa101 (talk) 09:33, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your response. Interesting. I noticed that America wasn't on the list; there must be some way of finding out whether it was banned there. (I'm British btw) I expect that some people on these scruffy websites guess that such-and-such-a-country must've banned it. For example, it's a fairly safe bet that South Africa would've banned it considered it was under Apartheid at the time. Similarly, Ireland had very strict censorship at the time, so I can't imagine it would've been allowed there. Most of the site are probably working by such a basis. I'd be interested to see an accurate list of where the film was and wasn't banned. Best wishes Epa101 (talk) 17:47, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
