- The "Articles for creation" draft you made is never going to be acceptable as an article unless it is drastically rewritten, for at least two reasons. Firstly, it is written as a personal reflection, rather than an objective report. Secondly, there does not seem to be the remotest trace of evidence anywhere that the tournament is notable enough to be included. (I am basing that not only on the fact that the draft you wrote provides no evidence of notability, but also on the fact that I have searched, and found no evidence of notability anywhere.) The first of those two problems can easily be dealt with by rewriting, but the second one is a different matter, because no amount of rewriting an article about a subject will change the degree of notability that the subject itself has. You are, of course, free to pursue it if you like, but my advice is that you will be wasting your time, and will be better off spending your efforts on something else. If you are interested in contributing to Wikipedia, there are millions of other subjects on which you can edit. If, on the other hand, you are only interested in trying to publicise that tournament, then you are much more likely to be successful in doing so by putting time into getting publicity on either a web-hosting service or a social network site. Hi, I recently reverted your good faith edit at Zeb Turner. While I did see your note at the Help Desk, Wikipedia does not allow original research. That is, simply because you have experienced something, does not make that information worthy of inclusion. As with any encyclopedia, we want information that can be verified. Since nobody can access a library and check out your brain, or cross-check your memories with other sources, that makes the verification process difficult. No disrespect intended, I do not question your veracity, I'm only pointing out that your contribution does not yet meet our encyclopedic needs. Now if your memories had been recorded in a published reliable source or recounted on The Tonight Show or whatever, that would be a different story. In the future, it might be a better approach to leave your comments locally on the article's talk page so that editors interested in Turner could respond directly to you. The Help Desk is for general questions related to the use of Wikipedia. Posting your ideas on the Zeb Turner talk page will help insure that your thoughts are directed to the interested parties.
