About deleting talk page comments

[edit]

Re this edit: deleting talk page comments is generally considered very bad form, see WP:TALK. I've restored the deleted comments. Please don't do this again. -- Rick Block (talk) 04:08, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for trying to engage StrongBad at Talk:Denver. Discussion on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Denvertalk pages is how things are supposed to work here. -- Rick Block (talk) 06:15, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Talking good. Reverting bad. Any more reverts and I'll WP:PROTECT the article (and I don't give a fuck who's version is "live"). STOP REVERTING. -- Rick Block (talk) 06:54, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Discussions (even heated discussions) on talk pages are absolutely OK (and somewhat expected). Wikipedia:Edit warring is not OK. I really, really don't want you to go away. All I want is for you to talk this through on the talk page. You can say pretty much anything you want on the talk page (short of personal attacks). -- Rick Block (talk) 07:10, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:26, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs difference in height

[edit]

In response to your edit summary "The south side of Colorado Springs is around 5,750 ft, not all of the city is at 6,035 ft." Yes of course and not all of the mountain of Pikes Peak is at 14,115 ft. There are also areas of Colorado Springs that are higher than 6,035 ft, are there not? I think it would make the most sense to indicate difference between the two official elevations within this statement. Why include a fact that needlessly appears false? --RacerX11 Talk to meStalk me 01:59, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have replied at my talk page. You know, the place where you just made 3 edits from 2 different accounts. --RacerX11 Talk to meStalk me 03:36, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
