Wilmington, Delaware Demographics
1. If the section of the article is about ethnicities, why does it only have to include European ethnicities? That makes NO since especially when African Americans make up the majority of the city, why can't their festival be included? 2. I don't see where the author left references for the other European festivals, so why is it required that I do? 3. Here is a site, I do not know how to add the reference as I just opened my account yesterday. http://www.harriettubman.com/index2.html The site actually says what I said regarding the festival. 4. Kind of ironic that this page doesn't show the puerto rican parade either. 5. I am born and raised in this city, as were my parents and grandparents. This is the third time that someone has come along and undone my edit on this page for some reason or another, it makes no sense! (The other two times I appeared as an IP user)

It seems to me that you have a SERIOUS problem with mentioning the African festival with any sort of significance. Cleaning up the Delaware festivals page is important too; however, the things I mentioned are WILMINGTON SPECIFIC, so they have a major pertinence in the culture of the city. I think they should be mentioned on the wilmington page by changing the running section to be called "Other events". That way it could include the running stuff, but also the marley fest, jazz fest, first night, the crab fest, and also the stormin normal b-ball classic. Re: Delaware license plates
It's on the second page of the cited article. Sorry for the confusion. As far as the image goes, I didn't upload it, but I'd find it hard to believe that such a simple design could be copyrighted. That's been the case with other historical license plate images, as opposed to the complex, modern designs most every state other than Delaware currently uses. - Ok, I see you found a url that contains the entire article on one page, rather than four separate pages. I guess 1959 is ok as the year, although there was some tweaking of the design in 1969 (the addition of the gold border) that caused me to choose that date. Regardless, the source is accurate in pegging 1959 as the introduction of Delaware's long-running slogan and color scheme, so all is well. Qqqqqq (talk) 05:19, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
