But

[edit]

The edit you made to the Unicode article was valid (u+250 didn't belong in that block), and you correctly used the edit note to say what you had done. But you failed to give the most critical information: why did you do it. If you delete anything, or make an edit that causes information to be lost, you need to use the edit note to give your reason.

Maybe you were just about to put the u+250 information in the IPA block like I just did? If you had given us a clue in your edit note, I would have waited.

Most importantly of all, we have all learned by making mistakes and this one was very minor, you should see my own early 'work'. So I hope I have not discouraged you! Welcome again to Wikipedia. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 10:24, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

dear John Maynard Friedman

the U+250 you put in - I assume it was

IPA Extensions Main article: IPA Extensions (Unicode block)

96 characters; all belong to the Latin script; three in the MES-2 subset. For the rest, see IPA Extensions (Unicode block). Code Glyph Decimal Description # MES-2 Rationale ____________________________________________________ U+0250 ɐ 586 Latin Small Letter Turned A

don't belong here as this table cover <MES-2 Rationale> in IPA Extensions
it is in the correct place in IPA Extensions (Unicode block) where it allway has been
i think someone when creating the table has forgotten to count in hex-decimal
and cone from C+0249 to D+250 instate of C+024A.
NB: HEX 0x250 is decimal 592 not 586 /sorry Holger bo hansen (talk) 13:01, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please help me with... List of Unicode characters

1: U+1E02 is start af table -- u+1E00 & U+E101 is missing - are in Latin Extended Additional (Unicode block)

2: African scripts: Ottoman Siyaq Numbers (Unicode block '0x1ED00 - 0x1ED4F') point to same codepage

  as
  Semitic languages:
Arabic script in Unicode, including the Persian alphabet, Jawi alphabet and others
Ottoman Siyaq Numbers (1ED00–1ED4F, 61 characters) --- codepage says it belong to <arabic script>
I think there was only one definition / owner

3: IPA Extensions:

     - U+0250 ɐ 586 Latin Small Letter Turned A --- is decimal value for U+249
+ U+0250 ɐ	592 Latin Small Letter Turned A --- must bee the correct decimal value

Unless I'm mistaken, this is a question about the content of List of Unicode characters, in which case it should be posted on the talk page - RichT|C|E-Mail 23:38, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
