June 2012[edit]

Your recent editing history at Baburam Bhattarai shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. SudoGhost 18:09, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, im the only one contributing to the talk page and not other editors who are constantly reverting.HunterSilver (talk) 23:26, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hello for any admin reviewing this block. I am a new editor in wikipedia and am being mistaken for someone else. User blackkite has stated absolutely no reasons for my block. I request for a unblock.

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified WP:SOCK of blocked user. --jpgordon::==( o ) 00:58, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I did not understand what that means. I have said the admin is mistaking me for someone else. If we have similar edits then obviously your checkuser will say the same user?

  • Checkuser (WP:CHECKUSER) means that your edits have been checked against the blocked editor's to see if they originate from the same IP address and computer (and hence, the same person). Yours do, although that was obvious from the edits themselves anyway. Black Kite (talk) 02:17, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I use a shared ip in a university, hundreds of people might use this ip? The users that you have accused me of being them, do they have same ip too? Just because I did a few edits that were similar to some thousands of users does not mean that I am the owners of thousand of user account?
