Welcome[edit]

Hello, Ichmusic and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Drm310 (talk) 20:09, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome from me too![edit]

Hi Ichmusic, and welcome to Wikipedia! I've written some advice on editing here for students in Prof. Jackson's similar classes at Longy School of Music which you might find helpful. You'll find it here. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page (User talk:Voceditenore), or place {{helpme}} here on your talk page, ask your question, and another editor will come along to help. You might also be interested in WikiProject Classical music and WikiProject Composers. They have various guidelines for articles in this area and talk pages where you can ask advice from editors experienced in writing articles on classical music and related subjects. You'll find these guides particularly useful: WikiProject Composers: Guide to online research and WikiProject Composers: Copyright guidelines. Happy editing and best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 11:04, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Teahouse[edit]

Me again. I also wanted to let you know about Wikipedia's Teahouse. It's a place providing great support for new editors. You can ask questions (no question is too basic) and get helpful answers and advice from experienced editors. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 11:04, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate sign-up[edit]

Hi, me yet again :). You've correctly added your name to User:Ijmusic/Vision of music's future, but I've taken the liberty of removing your name from User:Ijmusic/Futureclass. That page is for Prof. Jackson's Longy classes. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 07:58, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft[edit]

Hi Ichmusic, I've had a look at your draft and it seems pretty good. I think it might be improved by the addition of further reviews. I'm currently travelling without regular access to the internet, but when I get back on the 23rd, I'll have a closer look and see what we can do to get this into article space. Best Voceditenore (talk) 14:38, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Voceditenore, thank you so much. Looking forward to hearing from you soon

Hi Ichmusic. I've done a few tweaks and additions to your draft and moved it into article space. You'll find it at Eloquence (Bill Evans album). I gave it that name because Eloquence (album) already exists as an article about the Oscar Peterson album. Congratulations on your first Wikipedia article! Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 10:16, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Voceditenore, thank you! Thank you so much!!! Have a great day!

My pleasure, Ichmusic, . Best, Voceditenore (talk) 11:32, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ichmusic, just to let you know that I've uploaded an image of the album cover and added it to the infobox in the article. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 07:58, 30 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Voceditenore, Thank you so much. I tried to add this image and I tried to do the same thing as were done with images for other albums but mine was deleted. So thank you a lot for uploading the album cover.
