Re: Pimp template
Wow, that was fast. I was mostly calling for a dialogue on the subject, and to be honest I wasn't expecting the template to be changed just like that. If you feel at all uncomfortable with the modifications you've made, or feel the need to discuss the original language, then please do so. Otherwise, I do appreciate the consideration. Thanks a lot, and have a great day! romarin 23:24, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
P.S. I do realize that it was intended with humor, and that you were not trying to offend anyone. I also realize that the majority of people would probably not find anything offensive with it; it's only in light of the meaning and origin of the word that I think people should be sensitive to the implications that it could have, as it could potentially cause alienation and disenfranchisement of Wikipedians who are sensitive to sexism-derived language. Thanks for your understanding :) romarin 23:30, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
mini-rfc
Hello! I got you started on that user review we talked about on IRC: User:Ikiroid/mini-rfc. From here you can edit as you see fit. Cheers! --Fang Aili 說嗎? 23:49, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sure! Destroy all my hard work! Um, I mean, no problem. :) --Fang Aili 說嗎? 23:57, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I misread that. But whatever. --Fang Aili 說嗎? 00:02, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Re: No biggy
I've found out through irc (and by other means) that they are inviting voters to come and vote Oppose (mainly through the Domestic wikipedias). After seeing how ridiculous things can get - see the original vote (without the a), I've got vandal, open POV-pushers and now I've got invited votes. This is actually amuzing me. :) --HolyRomanEmperor 17:03, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
WeekiProjects
Yep, just add your name onto a list and make sure you meet the minimum requirements, if there are any (they vary by project). _-M o P-_ 23:35, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Just put your name on the Projects list. And you are automatically a member. General Eisenhower 23:36, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
And you have to meet ze requirements. >_> _-M o P-_ 23:37, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Elections
Thanks for supporting me in the Esperanza Advisory Council Elections. Although I wasn't elected to the Advisory Council, I am very happy with the response I received from my fellow Wikipedians. I was shocked at the support, and was touched by it. Hopefully I will re-apply in June and try again for the job. Thanks again, Highway Rainbow Sneakers
RfA nom
If you still want to nominate me for adminship, I think I'm ready now. (You may want to do a joint nom with JzG since he also expressed interest in nominating me, but you get first dibs since you brought it up first). Thanks. JoshuaZ 18:26, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Just to let you know, I am now formally accepting (well making the edits to do so) the nom. Again, thanks very much. JoshuaZ 03:17, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the support on my RfA!
File:Danavecpurpletiger.jpg | A belated thank you to you for Supporting my RFA! I am still finding my feet as an Administrator, and so far I am enjoying the experience. I am honoured that you felt I was ready to take up this position, and wish to thank you formally! I hope I can live up to your expectations of me. Once again, thank you! --Darth Deskana (talk page) 18:22, 3 May 2006 (UTC) |
May the Force be with you.
Dear Ikiroid/Archive 2,
- Thanks for voting on my RFA! I appreciate your faith in me, and was overwhelmed by the positive response to my RFA; for it shows that at least I'm doing something right. :) I've started working to improve myself already, and I hope that next time, things run better, and maybe, just maybe, one day we can bask on the shores of Admintopia together. Thanks and cheers, _-M o P-_ 21:53, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
My RFA
Hello Ikiroid/Archive 2, and thanks for supporting me on my recent request for adminship! It has succeeded with an unanimous support of 67 votes, so that I am now an administrator. Please feel free to leave a note on my talk page should you wish to leave any comments or ask for any help. Again, thanks a lot, AndyZ t 21:43, 5 May 2006 (UTC) |
Thank you!
Hello, Ikiroid/Archive 2, and thank you for vote on my recent RfA! With a final vote of 62/2/4, I have now been entrusted with the mop, bucket and keys. As I acclimate myself to my new tools, feel free to let me know how you believe I might be able to use them to help the project. Thanks again! RadioKirk talk to me 05:17, 6 May 2006 (UTC) |

study proverb
I'm afraid my Chinese is not good enough to make such a determination. You might need someone who was not only fluent (or at lease proficient) in Chinese, but is also familiar with these proverbs, as they can sometimes be idiomatic and all that. Sorry I can't be of more help. --Fang Aili 說嗎? 00:13, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Your nomination of my RfA
Thank you ver much for your well-written nomination. It must have been persuasive since the RfA went into WP:100 and I am now the person with the fourth highest number of RfA support votes ever. Again, thanks. JoshuaZ 14:13, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Looks nice, I may try playing with it a bit, thank you :) RadioKirk talk to me 18:05, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Huh?????????
<Mistaken warning removed>
- My apologies. In the excitement of testing my in-development antivandalism tool, I misread the diff. I stopped it rolling back, but didn't manage to stop the warning. Have a nice day, WerdnaTc@bCmLt 18:19, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Don't Worry
You weren't at fault there.
And a compliment, it's rare to see a Wikipedian devote an entire page to asking people to improve themselves. Props to you! --D-Day(Wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?) 20:48, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Master of Puppets has bopped you with a mop! Bops promote not only WikiLove, but also steady loss of brain cells! Hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the Moppage by bopping someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend, and help the chief MoP achieve his goal of world domination. Happy editing! Master of Puppets Your will is mine. 01:01, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, I put a template up at User:Master of Puppets/Bop. Use {{user:Master of Puppets/Bop|<yourself>}} to spread it more quickly; that is, you don't have to. I just thought I'd leech off the "Smile" fame. :P Master of Puppets Your will is mine. 23:36, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
template for adding links
Hi - Re your question at Wikipedia:Village pump (assistance), before you create a new template I'd suggest you look through the ones at Category:Wikipedia maintenance templates and perhaps bring it up at Wikipedia talk:Maintenance (or some similar sort of place). Note that there are already a large number of maintenance tasks, most of which have significant backlogs. I think you might also be interested in Wikipedia:Maintenance collaboration of the week if you haven't noticed it yet. -- Rick Block (talk) 14:21, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also in case you don't know, there's a special: page for pages with no incoming links at all, see Special:Lonelypages. -- Rick Block (talk) 14:34, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
My RFA
Thank you, Ikiroid, for voting in my RFA. It closed with a final result of 75/1/0. Now that I am an administrator here, I will continue to improve this encyclopedia, using my new tools to revert vandalism, block persistent vandals, protect pages that have been vandalized intensively, and close AFD discussions. Any questions? Please contact me by adding a new section on my talk page. Again, thanks to all of you who participated!!! -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:24, 20 May 2006 (UTC) |
