October 2017[edit]

The Isa Molde article have no references at all. Since it is a biography of a living person, it is needed to comply with WP:BLP. When you hit the edit button in a BLP you can notice the big Pink Notice about sources message. That is not a joke, take it seriously. WP:UNSOURCED is something you should read. --Osplace 21:18, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

According to WP:CIRCULAR any Wikipedia article can be used as a source. How can anyone be named "Best Liberos", that is PLURAL! If two awards were given then, every athlete was name Best Libero, not "liberos". In the Dawn Macandili case, is not sourced that she won that award, it might be deleted anytime. --Osplace 03:28, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Already deleted, not sourced found. Tried AVC, Thai Newspaper, Inquirer, rappler and official site. If you get a source we can fix the award. --Osplace 04:04, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Spiker[edit]

A single person cannot be SPIKERS, that is a plural. When two people win the same award, everyone is a spiker not spikers, like you did here and here. --Osplace 01:54, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Imleopadilla requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Disambiguation link notification for July 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Philippines women's national volleyball team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FIVB Volleyball World Championship (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Imleopadilla, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Maddie Madayag have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Captain Calm (talk) 09:22, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Maddie Madayag while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Captain Calm (talk) 09:33, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Your addition to Maddie Madayag has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. A tag has been placed on Katrina Velarde, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:Praxidicae, you may be blocked from editing. Schazjmd (talk) 18:43, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop requesting for speedy deletion as what User talk:Praxidicae did to my contribution. Imleopadilla (talk) 18:45, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And if you edit another article with an inappropriate tag just because I've edited it, you're going to find yourself quickly blocked. CUPIDICAE💕 18:46, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Then cite me an example of an article that I’ve been edited with an inappropriate tag. Imleopadilla (talk) 18:48, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I’ve created a new page for Katrina Velarde so stop ruining my contribution! Imleopadilla (talk) 18:48, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. [1][2][3][4][5][6]. Do it again and get blocked. Got it? CUPIDICAE💕 18:50, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How about User talk:Praxidicae for requesting a speedy deletion of my article of Katrina Velarde? It’s my work! Can’t you understand? Or should I am the one who will block you? Imleopadilla (talk) 18:52, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am Praxidicae. And you also created a a copyright violation that was nothing more than an egregious advertisement. Also, I'm not an administrator, so I can't block you but one will if you continue your behavior. CUPIDICAE💕 18:55, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So cite me an exact reference why you request a speedy deletion of Katrina Velarde’s page? Imleopadilla (talk) 18:57, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You don’t have any rights to ruin everyone’s work. I will request a speedy deletion to your page if you still continue your unprofessionalism. Imleopadilla (talk) 18:58, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You go right ahead and do that. CUPIDICAE💕 18:59, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The page Katrina Velarde has been deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. As the page met any of these strictly-defined criteria, it was deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been deleted are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review -- LuK3 (Talk) 18:58, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
