Hi James - Thanks for the input! I assume you were referring to my sandbox and the information on Doe v. Ciolli. The information that I copied was partly from Wikipedia and partly from a government document "Order Denying AK47's Motion to Dismiss". Correct me if I am wrong, but I think those are both OK to copy from. The reason I had them copied was just so I could look over them and write the article when I got around to it. Thanks for the explanation. It seems that the page Thing-O-Matic/sandbox contained material which had been copied from the Wikipedia article MakerBot Industries, but I'm afraid either I didn't notice your note saying "Current Article on MakerBot Industries", or else I saw it but didn't realise that it meant "the following text is copied from the article MakerBot Industries". I have restored the page, and put a note which I hope shows the origin of the material in a more un-missable way. I have also moved it to User:Indigojin/Thing-O-Matic/sandbox, as normally draft material should not be in main article space. (There is, actually, a standard template for putting a note in a page saying it contains material copied from another Wikipedia page, but I can't remember what it is called, so I've made my own custom message box.) User Sandbox

The draft at Thing-O-Matic/sandbox was deleted because it was a clear copyright violation - and thus it will not be restored. If you wish to write an article on this that is in your own words, you can follow this link to your user space where you can work on it until it is ready to put into the article space: User:Indigojin/Thing-o-matic. This will be a red link until you click on it - add content - and save. Once you believe that it is ready for the article space, you simply need to move (use the 'move' tab) and remove the "User:Indigojin" from the title. Skier Dude (talk) 02:33, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Transparent Makerbot Thing-O-Matic.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Transparent Makerbot Thing-O-Matic.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
