You have been blocked[edit]

There are some problems with your account that makes it incompatible with Wikipedia's goals. For starters, you aren't here to improve the encyclopedia, but instead to improve your career, thus you haven't added a single edit of value. That falls under WP:HERE. Second of all, you make mention (on your user page) that your reports have been seen on "CNN, NBC and local affiliate stations", which means you are here with the goal of being financially compensated. While our policies on Paid Editing don't exactly cover this, your actions violate the spirit of those policies enough that I felt action was needed. Using Wikipedia as a means to financially enrich yourself requires disclosure, for starters (per the TOS and policy). Wikipedia, as a private corporation, is exempt from First Amendment considerations here, and blocking you in no way prohibits you from writing about Wikipedia. Using the encyclopedia as a platform, however, is not acceptable. (WP:FORUM, etc). This is no different that other editors that get blocked because they only use the site as a form of social networking and do not contribute to the content or maintenance in any way. Being a self-proclaimed (and unverifiable) reporter doesn't exempt you. I would also note that it is painfully obvious that you aren't a new user, so if you are using this as a secondary account, it wouldn't appear to be an acceptable use under WP:SOCK. I stated on my user page I was here for one purpose which is to write my story on the management of Wikipedia. The purpose of my account was very clear. I am a journalist and I am writing this story regardless of your ban on my account. I never stated I was here to make money. I am neither here to make money or “financially enrich” myself. I do not get paid for individual stories I write. “I will also receive no compensation for this article.” I am here to improve Wikipedia. Your statement that “it is painfully obvious that you aren't a new user” is a bit confusing because as you can see, I have made no edits. Unlike paid editors that get jobs through Upwork. My goal of this article is to help eliminate the problem by exposing the truth. Through my research, I have found many troubling instances of paid editing, editors controlling articles, and editors pushing their point of views through their edits. This is a problem. Yes, Wikipedia is protected from the 1st amendment but that doesn’t prohibit it from corruption. Visibility of the problem is important for the survival and accuracy of Wikipedia. Since you were so quick to ban me, I would love to talk to you and hear your side of this. As I mentioned I am writing about the management of Wikipedia and banning accounts is part of that story. I am happy to verify my status as a reporter. However, I could question your identity as well. Just as you accused me of being paid, I could do the very same for you since your identity is unclear as well as your intentions of administrating Wikipedia. Everyone is anonymous on Wikipedia so there is no reason to attack me because the credentials I provided on my user page about the work I am doing was not sufficient for you. ZiaLater and I suspect that he is one of the endless series of COI editors paid to achieve the whitewashing of the Smartmatic article (most of his attempted "investigations" concern that article). Block modified[edit]

I have disabled email and talk page access. Again, Wikipedia isn't a forum for exercising First Amendment rights, it is an encyclopedia, privately held by a corporation. It is not the public square. To that end, we expect all editors to participate in one of many ways to improve the encyclopedia. Talk page and email access are generally not removed but it seems obvious they aren't being used for either the betterment of the encyclopedia or to get unblocked.
