Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Digitalis Purpurea (band) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/DIGITALIS-PURPUREA/34798203412?v=wall&ref=ts.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:22, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --ANowlin: talk 23:11, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Digitalis purpurea (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No disambiguation page is needed, as there is only one non-primary usage, and it is linked via hatnote.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD (talk) 17:40, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Aseptic White requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

— Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:43, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Aseptic white cover.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Aseptic white cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.

Digitalis purpurea (band)

[edit]

Thank you for your message.

In order to qualify for an encyclopedia article, a band must be "notable". Please read WP:BAND, the relevant notability guideline. If Digitalis purpurea satisfies the notability criteria, please let me know and I'll be happy to restore the article. While Wikipedia requires the use of reliable sources, the sources don't have to be in English, so if the band is well-known in non-English-speaking countries, feel free to use non-English sources. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 20:30, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the articles to User:Isthar Dear/Digitalis Purpurea (band) and User:Isthar Dear/Aseptic White. Please add more sources to the articles. Keep in mind that Facebook and web forums are not considered reliable sources. In order to use a review in a magazine such as Sonic Secudes, just add a footnote that says something like <ref>Review, ''Sonic Secudes'', date (if you know it).</ref>. When you feel the articles have better sources, you may move them back to mainspace. Please leave me a message if you have any questions. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:03, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
To move the article, just click on the "Move" tab on the top right of the article (underneath the arrow) and move it from User:Isthar Dear/Digitalis Purpurea (band) to Digitalis Purpurea (band) (likewise for Aseptic White). See Help:Moving a page for more detailed instructions. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 17:46, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
