Recently, you added a lot of information to the South African Choirs Category page. This is actually a "category" page--that means it's only purpose is to list other pages that contain actual articles. If your intention was to create a new article, what you want to do is type "South Cape Children's Choir" into the search box. You will see a result that says "You may create the page "South Cape Children's Choir", but consider checking the search results below to see whether it is already covered." Then you can click on the redlink "South Cape Children's Choir," and from that location create a new article. Speedy deletion nomination of The South Cape Children's Choir

A tag has been placed on The South Cape Children's Choir requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://sccchoir.co.za/index.php?comp=article&page=article&op=view&id=26. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Wikipedia and copyright

Hello J-E Swart, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to The South Cape Children's Choir has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
• Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
