Speedy deletion of Joel Cassidy[edit]

A tag has been placed on Joel Cassidy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. 9Nak (talk) 11:57, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

April 2008[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to FC Barcelona. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. LeaveSleaves (talk) 12:06, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to England.
Any further vandalism will result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 11:49, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of CA United[edit]

A tag has been placed on CA United requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.

May 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with CA United. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. BigDunc (talk) 20:40, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with CA United. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. BigDunc (talk) 20:41, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Squad numbers[edit]

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Sorry but I'll have to remove them in that case. You're probably right that those are their new numbers, but Wikipedia has to work from reliable published sources, so until the club release the new list of numbers, or say that Carsley or Phillips will wear such-and-such a number next season, we can't justify adding them. Sorry about that. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 18:39, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Troy_Deeney_Walsall_625961.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Troy_Deeney_Walsall_625961.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 08:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for File:175x130-deeney.thumbnail.jpeg.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:175x130-deeney.thumbnail.jpeg.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

June 2009[edit]

This is your only warning.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Paul O'Grady, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rodhullandemu 13:52, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello JDCassidy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Troy Deeney - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
