Question for administrator

[edit]

I want some help on why my page QEA Eduventures was deleted. I have some argument to make: 1. It was said that my page had some content copied from the source http://www.donehealth.com/new-best-qea-eduventures.html. The site source mentioned has copied my own wikipedia markup code and shown on its website. Please visit the website and confirm.

Please acknowledge and help me out. JN2014 (talk) 06:11, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it seems likely that the website copied your article, so that the article is not a copyright violation. However, as you will see from the notice above, there were other reasons for deletion. In particular, Wikipedia has an inclusion test called Wikipedia:Notability, which is not a matter of saying so but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people not connected with the subject thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about? Your article's references and links were all to its own website or associated ones, press releases or directory entries. For what is required, see WP:Notability (summary). It is also worth noting that you appear to be evading a block on your previous account; therefore speedy deletion criterion G5 would be applicable even if the notability and sourcing were fixed. Please note that the block applies to you as an individual, not to any specific account that you create. Until you are unblocked (at your original account), any administrator can and will legitimately delete any articles that you add to Wikipedia. Yunshui  11:41, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
