Hey there, I see you're brand new to Wikipedia. If you would like to create an article, check out the article wizard. Xavier Richards appears to have been created to test how to create an article. This should be done in your userspace (your user pages), and wait till you've completed the article before creating it in the mainspace (live Wikipedia). Again, the article wizard will guide you through all of this. Let me know if you need any help. Cheers — MusikAnimal talk 03:50, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

G'day Jack, The best way to learn is to copy other pages - just click on "edit source" or "edit this page" and all the code is there to see - unless it wrapped up in a template, which is what most of the boxes on peoples user pages generally are. If you need a hand with anything, please ask, otherwise welcome and enjoy editing. If you want another "brother of a Swan" article to create, have a crack at Brandon Jack. Copy, paste, change/edit/add/reference, save. Key things are to be neutral - you can't say "he's gonna be the next Gary Ablett"; use references - this is getting a bit harder with the news website paywalls, but google his name on google news archives, use the ABC website, whatever, but always try to get a non-club/AFL related website source if possible. One more thing - upper or lower case matters in article names and templates, that's why the box didn't work - Xavier Richards is not the same as Xavier richards or XAVIER RICHARDS. Everything has to match perfectly. Reply here or on my page if you get stuck on anything. Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 04:44, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the help ill yell out if I need anything Jack.normo (talk) 04:45, 3 July 2013 (UTC) Actually well your chatting could u please tell me how u get the userboxes? thanks Jack.normo (talk) 04:47, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said above, if you see boxes on other people's pages, you can click on edit page and see what template it is, and copy and paste them onto your page. Otherwise, have a look at Category:Userboxes and all of its sub categories you can use any of them. To use them simply drop the Template: bit and put curly brackets {{ around the box name. Sandbox

[edit]

Hey, also wanted to make you aware that you have a sandbox (you can also find the link in the nav bar at the top-right of any WP page). This sandbox is your own personal playground to do anything... testing Wikipedia markup, playing with userboxes, diary entries, etc. Thought you might also find that useful. Cheers! — MusikAnimal talk 04:44, 3 July 2013 (UTC) Ok thank you Jack.normo (talk) 04:46, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Brandon Jack has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
