A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Jameselam2018, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notability and conflict of interest

[edit]

Thank you for your interest in creating an article on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the person who is the subject of your article does not appear to be sufficiently notable enough for inclusion. Simply being an unelected candidate for office does not guarantee notability. To be considered notable, he would have to meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria for people.

Regarding the name of this account

[edit]

If you are James Elam

[edit]

Please be aware that Wikipedia highly discourages you from writing about yourself. This is because of the inherent difficulty in being an objective judge of your own notability, writing about yourself from the required neutral point of view, and using information taken only from reliable, third-party sources. Your own official website and social media are valid primary sources, but will not count towards establishing notability. You also can't use any unpublished personal knowledge or experience, as this is considered unverifiable original research.

If you are not James Elam

[edit]

Please be aware that Wikipedia's username policy does not allow editors to edit under the name of another specific, identifiable person. Such accounts are routinely blocked to prevent damaging impersonation. If you are not James Elam, then I strongly suggest you change your username.

If you are working for him, then you have a conflict of interest. Please review Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide so that you know how to be transparent about your connection to him. If you are being paid to write about him, then you must make a mandatory disclosure of who is paying you to edit, who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship. This is detailed in Wikipedia's policy on paid contribution disclosure.
