US 1/9

[edit]

That hatnote template should not be used on that article. If you notice, it adds:

"U.S. Route 1-9 Toll" redirects here. For other uses, see U.S. Route 1-9 Toll (disambiguation).

where the "U.S. Route 1-9 Toll (disambiguation)" portion is a redlink. That means there is no page with the title "U.S. Route 1-9 Toll (disambiguation)", nor should there be. We'd only create a disambiguation page if there were multiple instances of highways named "U.S. Route 1-9 Toll", and there are not. I think you want t add it too call out the fact that "U.S. Route 1-9 Toll" redirects to the article, but that's not what the template is for. To call out a redirect title, you bold that title in the text of the lead.

Before we go any farther, I just have to ask: is there any place where they use a US 1/9 shield with a toll banner plate? If not, then "U.S. Route 1-9 Toll" doesn't really exist and we shouldn't add that name into the text. If they do use that sign assembly, then we can. Imzadi 1979  19:59, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you’re talking about the toll banner being put on highway signs, then there may be a few on ramps entering 1-9 in Fort Lee, NJ where the GW bridge toll is. Though I don’t know if they do considering there would probably be a toll banner with I-95 instead, since that’s the dominant route. Jason Ingtonn (talk) 03:10, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Henry Hudson Drive

[edit]

The articles for New Jersey roads do need work, and all of your input is most helpful. In terms of Henry Hudson Drive, it does not appear that there is enough to merit a standalone article, so it was changed to redirect to Palisades Interstate Park Commission, where you already added material about Henry Hudson Drive. I understand, thank you for the advice Jason Ingtonn (talk) 08:00, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of state highways in New Jersey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Newark. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
