Information icon Hello, I'm Nythar. An edit that you recently made to List of Sikhs seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dharmendra, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Samrat and Qayamat. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

False edit summaries

[edit]

Please leave accurate edit summaries, your claim that you were "fixing typos" in the following edit is blatantly false: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1245666200&oldid=1245665885&title=Baghel_Singh MaplesyrupSushi (talk) 02:30, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jai Singh Kanhaiya, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nurpur.

October 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Promethean (talk) 11:51, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This was a fairly large removal of cited content, and is very easily mistaken for vandalism. Please use more detailed summaries other than 'edit' Promethean (talk) 11:52, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Promethean okay sorry sir actually that content was already mentioned in detail in another section Jassu712 (talk) 11:55, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Jassu712! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Sukerchakia Misl several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Sukerchakia Misl, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. APK hi :-) (talk) 08:52, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@APK okay thank you sir I will do dispute resolution options Jassu712 (talk) 09:03, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@APK like you said I didn't edit Sukerchakia Misl again but our Panjab keep doing whatever he wants instead of waiting for third opinion Jassu712 (talk) 09:59, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Sukerchakia Misl shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You two are continuing to edit war despite my earlier advice. APK hi :-) (talk) 10:02, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i already take your advice sir earlier but it's our Panjab who keeps doing whenever he wants i will not edit Sukerchakia misl page till i get third opinion from now Jassu712 (talk) 10:06, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Achal

[edit]

Hi there, I have removed your recent additions to Battle of Achal for now, because they contained badly botched formatting. Different citations used the same ref name, and there were other errors as well. Please get in the habit of using Preveiw when editing. Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 03:55, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jessicapierce okay sir Jassu712 (talk) 05:36, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please look over your more recent edits. You have created another formatting issue (you can see the big red error under the References section). In addition, the new beginning paragraph is not a complete sentence and makes no sense. You also ended several sentences with commas. Please address these issues. Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 22:01, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Asking

[edit]

User:331dot, I submitted an unblock request over 10 days ago from my old account User:Jisshu, but haven't received any response from the admins. Could you please update me on the status and estimated review time? Thank you Jassu712 (talk) 14:36, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is no estimated review time. Admins are volunteers doing what they can, when they can. Your request is open and visible. Please be patient; requests are not reviewed in a particular order. My advice would be for you to cease using this account. 331dot (talk) 15:42, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
