Giyath ad-Din Muhammad Ghori[edit]

There are to many mistakes in the article. I'm not sure who is responsible but I would like to talk him/her. JavadMohammadi14 (talk) 11:54, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to explain it here [1] [2]. Mind you, you need reliable sources to back your statements up. --HistoryofIran (talk) 11:58, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't explain at least 50% of your other edits, including the date changes. Moreover, I would advise you to create a new section in the talk page. --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:05, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I hope we can exchange numbers or at least email, cuz I have many thing to talk. As I can say it is editing by Iranian and Indians, when the priority should be given to Afghans where Ghurids are from. JavadMohammadi14 (talk) 12:46, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but my number is private and there's no need for writing through mail when we can do it here. What is that supposed to mean? Afghanistan didn't exist when the Ghurids were active, nor are they of Afghan/Pashtun origin. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:26, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday of Ghiyath ad-Din Muhammad[edit]

In the Tabaqat-i-Nasiri, it is mentioned that Sultan Ghiyas-od-din Muhammad was died on the 27 Jamadi al-Awwal of 599 AH at the age of 63. Notice that it's in Anno Hijri or Islamic calendar. So if we subtract 63 from 599, it becomes 536 which equals 1144 in AD. I don't know where the author brought the 1137 or 1139 from. I beg you to put your first attention on Persian sources like Tabaqat-i-Nasiri, Tajul-Ma'asir and Tarikh-i-Firishta, then go to orientalist books. JavadMohammadi14 (talk) 12:44, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We don't base this stuff on primary sources, please see WP:PSTS. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:26, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What do you use? Tabaqat-i-Nasiri is the most authentic book about Ghurid empire. JavadMohammadi14 (talk) 13:13, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tabaqat-i-Nasiri and Tajul-Ma'asir have been written during Ghurid empire and a bit later. They are the best primary sources. They are all written in Persian. I regret why an Iranian write article about history or Afghanistan but never mind Persian and primary sources JavadMohammadi14 (talk) 13:17, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here in Wikipedia we use secondary sources. As I said, please read WP:PSTS so you will understand. What is the last bit supposed to mean? I advise you to keep such stuff to yourself, be nice. --HistoryofIran (talk) 15:04, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I see you're adding the nastliq script in various India related articles. Please note that the consensus is not to do add ANY indic scripts in the lead and infobox. Thanks. --RegentsPark (comment) 16:30, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
