Image tagging for Image:Karelmarquez.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Karelmarquez.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

3 Revert Rule[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. -Danngarcia 15:48, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you've been fighting a lot of vandalism at Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan. I'm pretty sure it's subtle vandalism, anyway - the "fag" and "drama crap" and "who cares" references give it away. I also noticed that you put the {{pp-semi-protected}} template on the page, but that doesn't actually protect it unless an admin protects it, so I've taken care of protecting it.

If an article is being vandalized heavily, feel free to make a report at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection for the page, and/or Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism for the user. It looks like Shishiyo Mokoto (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) is only here to vandalize, anyway. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 16:05, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Protection templates[edit]

Please don't put protection templates (ex. {{pp-semi-protected}}) to articles that are not actually protected by an administrator. If you want to request for protection please report at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. Thanks... -Danngarcia 16:34, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Use preview button before saving[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edit(s) to Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. -Danngarcia 16:48, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Girlsarmy.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Girlsarmy.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Additionally, if you continue uploading bad images, you may be blocked from uploading. STBotI 13:24, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your image uploads[edit]

Please take the time to read up on our non-free content policies. WP:NFCC. Your recent image uploads have lacked source information, detailed fair-use rationale and have also included non-free images that are not being used. I have deleted them all. Please feel free to reupload any images which you can ensure will be compliant with our policies. Thanks. Spartaz Humbug! 17:15, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:GammaZaido.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GammaZaido.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GammaAlvaro.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:GammaZaido.jpg. The copy called Image:GammaZaido.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:GammaAlvaro.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GammaAlvaro.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Drigo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Drigo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Bolaboba.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Bolaboba.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:38, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Zaido.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:35, 25 May 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NrDg 16:35, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Shake Rattle & Roll X[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Shake Rattle & Roll X, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Darna (2009 TV series). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 12:55, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you need help adding resources, let's talk here. I won't block you from editing if you need help with sources, but you must stop adding things for a while. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 13:11, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could we please confine our discussion to one talk page: preferably here? It would be quite helpful if you would answer this direct question: Do you understand that you need to tell us where you get your information? Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 14:15, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I await your reply to the above question. If you do not reply and you add information to an article without sources, you will be blocked. The choice is yours. I'm trying to help you here. You can't continue doing as you please while just saying your editing is "clean and fair". -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 15:54, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It is now clear that you do not understand or respect Wikipedia policies. Since you have not listened to my warnings, and you continue to make contributions without providing any sources, you have been blocked from editing for 24 hours. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Please take the time while you are blocked to ask questions here on your talk page about how you can prevent being blocked in the future. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 13:12, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Jbr999! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 943 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

== Unblock my IP adress! =={{unblock-auto reviewed|120.28.64.77|

The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy, such as a VPN service. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

If you are using an open proxy or VPN service, you will need to disable it or turn it off in order to edit Wikipedia.

If you believe you are not using an anonymizing proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer using your IP address who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. You may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is _______. Place any further information here. ~~~~}}. You must fill in the blank with your IP address for this block to be investigated. Your IP address can be determined here. Alternatively, if you wish to keep your IP address private you can use the Unblock Ticket Request System.

More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). For more information, see the WikiProject on Open Proxies.

Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using an open or anonymizing proxies in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs. Shinkenger: Epic on Ginmaku, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Buredoran[edit]

Ther is absolutely no reason to have an entire article just on Buredoran. First of all he is not the main antagonist. He is just a recurring antagonist. And second, there have never been individual articles on any Super Sentai (or Kamen Rider) antagonist. It's not a good time to start, particularly when articles on fiction and fictional characters are under such scrutiny.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 10:22, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shadow Moon is a special case. Buredoran is not. Also please stop leaving me messages about this.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 10:35, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well buredoran has its own page as Brajira of the Messiah.

Fair use rationale for File:KuumaMothership.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:KuumaMothership.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Gokaiger villains[edit]

Do not add content to our articles unless it can be verified by reliable sources. Huge list of returning actors in Gokaiger[edit]

Do not add entries to the list until after the episode that features them has aired. Ninjaman's entry will have to wait for January 8.—Ryulong (竜龙) 11:41, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I told you not to add characters until after they appear. Everything you state about the 5 final returning actors cannot be reliably sourced.—Ryulong (竜龙) 09:32, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kazuoki Takahashi no longer uses his last name. Do not add "Takahashi" to the guest cast list, again.—Ryulong (竜龙) 09:50, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is not important to list the other roles the actors have been in on this list. Just list that they're reprising ONE particular character.—Ryulong (竜龙) 00:20, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop that. We do not need to say that the people have portrayed any other character other than the one that they're reprising.—Ryulong (竜龙) 04:40, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175[edit]

Dear Jbr999,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Bubble Gang recurring characters and sketches, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gloria Romero. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:AlDub's first couple photo, Sept 26 2015.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:AlDub's first couple photo, Sept 26 2015.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:01, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Kalyeserye character descriptions[edit]

Hi there, regarding your recent edits at Kalyeserye, please note character descriptions should be brief and should contain real-world context instead of just being focused on in-universe detail. They certainly aren't the place to keep adding more and more detail that is best suited for plot summaries. Please note also that the character list is flagged as in need of trimming, so adding more isn't going to make the section less detailed. Lastly, please be aware I opened a discussion about this on the article's talk page a few days ago. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:59, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kalyeserye - Please stick to main and recurring characters[edit]

Hi there, you should probably familiarize yourself with the Manual of Style for Television, which represents established community consensus for what sort of content belongs in articles. While I think your heart is in the right place when you make edits like these, character lists should only focus on main and recurring characters, not every single character to ever appear on Kalyeserye. Focusing on insignificant characters only creates article bloat. Sites like Wikia.com may be better suited to receiving every minor detail, but Wikipedia is only interested in presenting broad overviews of its subjects. Note also, please, that editing against established consensus (MOS:TV) is widely considered disruptive, which I'm sure is not your intention. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:53, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unconstructive edits at Kalyeserye[edit]

Jbr999, your edits here where you silently reverted edits made by AngusWOOF, are not constructive. You should not be reverting without providing a coherent, rational explanation, and the best place to do that is on the article's talk page. If you were confused by AngusWOOF's changes, you should not have reverted, you should have opened a discussion and asked him to explain. You are not at liberty to silently stonewall other editors' changes. All articles should be able to evolve. Stonewalling is disruptive and if you continue to do it, you will find your editing privileges interrupted.

AngusWOOF has been around for a while and he is quite familiar with television editing norms. In his edits, he added {{vanchor}} templates to make it easier to link to those characters from other pages. This is a useful feature, and it's common for TV character lists. Angus also fixed the over usage of slashes (/) in the article. "Divina Ursula Bokbokova Smash / Yaya Dub", which you restored, is sloppy and inconsistent with MOS:SLASH. Characters should be presented simply, and if the most common use of the character's name is Yaya Dub, that's what she should be listed as, with further details appearing in the prose section if warranted. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:07, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
