Speedy deletion nomination of K11 Art Foundation[edit]

Hello Jefferynghk,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged K11 Art Foundation for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. OluwaCurtis The King : talk to me 15:39, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:NWD Org Chart.png[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:NWD Org Chart.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:50, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:NWD Org Chart.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:NWD Org Chart.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:18, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Jefferynghk. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Citobun (talk) 15:15, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on X Social Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Reminder[edit]

Once again, per Wikimedia Foundation terms of service you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See WP:PAID. Citobun (talk) 04:09, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your message on my talk page: these are not "unfair accusations". Fully 100 per cent of your contributions to Wikipedia have been about X Social Group, a digital marketing agency, or people and clients associated with that agency. Furthermore your editing is inappropriate and disruptive, i.e. whitewashing referenced material from New World Development and replacing it with unencyclopedic PR puffery. Wikipedia is overrun by marketing people who don't seem to understand that this is an encyclopedia, not a vehicle for promotion, wasting the time of countless volunteers who have to spend increasing amounts of time on quality control. I am not going to pussyfoot around the issue. It is obvious you have an undeclared conflict of interest. Citobun (talk) 04:38, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:41, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you because it is quite clear that you have an undisclosed conflict of interest here. You were given several chances to disclose this, but you have denied this. A very quick search proved that you were lying when you stated here that you "don't have any relationship with both the company and the person of the pages I edited", as this Linkedin page shows that X Social Group has a marketing and advertising specialist by the same name working for them. It is extremely unlikely that you are someone who just happens to have the same name and happens to be editing on the same topic. The thing is, you can edit with a conflict of interest on Wikipedia. It's very difficult and you face quite a bit of strife, but it is something that can be done as long as you're willing to be transparent and work with others. However you did the exact opposite, as not only did you not disclose your COI, you actually tried to hide it. It's possible that another admin might unblock you (I will not), but you would essentially have to convince us that you can be trusted to make any further edits on Wikipedia and to be transparent about your COI. Given that you lied about your COI, this is going to be a very difficult thing to accomplish. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:50, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I also have to assume that any and all edits that you made under this account were likely done in order to promote other businesses or people. This is why it's such a bad idea to hide your COI - all of your edits will be viewed with suspicion. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:52, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:NWD Org Chart.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
