National varieties of English[edit]

Hello. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Jared Taylor are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. You may find User:Jytdog/How useful, which explains the mission of Wikipedia, how the editing community realizes the mission, and why we do things as we do them. Briefly, we summarize reliable sources here. We summarize what sources actually say. This is different from stringing disparate sources together to make an argument; that is not OK to do here, per the policy against synthesis, a form of original research. Are you an American?[edit]

If so, how did you get here? Because if you're not one of this continent's indigenous peoples or a slave brought here in chains, you are a beneficiary of immigration. Perhaps even illegal immigration. Do you think the Pilgrims landing the Mayflower stopped to ask the indigenous peoples of Massachusetts if they needed to get a green card? They were, by any definition, immigrants to a new land. And that land, by the way, was stolen at gunpoint from its prior owners. If you think we have any special moral claim to this continent which allows us to reject all others who would come and join us, you're wrong. No they weren't, America, the country, did not exist when they arrived. Secondly the Native Americans on the continent at that time fought back against the European settlers and lost, mainly due to diseases (which the Europeans had no idea about btw), therefore why do the CURRENT inhabitants not have the right to fight back against invaders and build walls? The reason Europeans won was due to resistance to diseases that the natives had not developed, this is due to them not developing the same level of agricultural society. I recommend The 10,000 Year Explosion by Gregory Cochran for a great overview of this. I have no issue if Mexicans want to invade the US but the US citizens should be able to defend themselves. Have you also sent these messages to Grayfell on the Jared Taylor Talk page when he was getting emotionally involved and attacking me unrelated to the topic at hand, even requesting I be blocked?

His message - "Nobody here asked you to find sources calling him something, so you either misinterpreted what was being told to you, or are being intentionally obtuse. He is both a white nationalist and a white supremacist. It's possible for him to be more than one thing. Ethno-nationalism is a sad, angry fantasy anyway, so trying to emphasize this difference is unpersuasive. None of these sources dispute that he is a white supremacist. In fact, they all support it even if they don't use that precise term. Further, this has already been discussed in tedious detail. Beating a dead horse is a demonstration that you're not acting in good faith. If that's the case, why wouldn't an admin just block you and save us all some time?"
