Your draft article, Draft:Binge Bangladesh

[edit]

Hello, Jit Saha255. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Binge Bangladesh".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Hey man im josh (talk) 17:02, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Walton Dhaka has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NTEAM, lacks any sources or references. There is currently Draft:Walton Dhaka so article can’t be draftified.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Walton Dhaka moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Walton Dhaka, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. About Hawa

[edit]

I noticed that you wrote the box office in Hawa as ৳20 crore. Wikipedia is based on "reliable sources", that means every information in article should be backed by sources that is reliable. You didn’t put sources for you claim so I reverted your edit. We have sources that the film earned 14 crore from multiplexes in Bangladesh and 2 crore from North America. That's why that article says that the film grossed total ৳16 crore. According to rules of Wikipedia it is safe to write ৳16 crore as the box office. So please don't change it to ৳20 crore unless you find reliable source for it (and I didn’t find any source that verified your claim). Mehedi Abedin 07:16, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I cleared about the source thing in here but you did it again in Poran. Please try to understand and don't write anything that doesn’t supported by reliable sources. Mehedi Abedin 23:52, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Indian Premier League into Hockey Champions Trophy Bangladesh. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chorki (streaming service), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Relationship. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proper way to insert images in infoboxes

[edit]

Hello @. I am @Archer1234. I noticed your recent edit to Monarch Padma where you added an image to the infobox. I want to let you know that the way you added the image was not done according to Wikipedia's Manual of Style (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE).

When adding an image to an infobox, thumbnails should NOT be used. Simply supplying the file name will work. For example, to use File:Image PlaceHolder.png, you can simply use |image=Image PlaceHolder.png. Captions should be specified with the |caption= parameter. Every infobox is different and the documentation for the infobox in question should be consulted for the proper parameters to match the image and caption.
To fix

Do not use the full image syntax:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead, just supply the name of the image. So, in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg

and optionally:

|caption=Some image caption.

Hopefully you will find this information useful for your future editing. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask. — Archer1234 (talk) 14:41, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed a recent edit you made does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button.
