Thanks for uploading Image:WH May 1872.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks for uploading File:WHfront.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

Account creator[edit]

To use the interface to handle requests, you must register here and complete your registration by leaving a signed edit on your Wikipedia user talk page confirming that you wish to sign up. In that edit to your talk page, include a link to your identification diff from the Identification noticeboard and a statement that you have read, understand and will comply with the WMF Privacy Policy and this Request an account/Guide. Your request must be approved by a tool administrator and if approved, you will receive a notice on your talk page. If you are declined, you will receive an email explaining why.

I confirm my wish to sign up for the Account creator tool. I do not currently have a diff from the Identification noticeboard and am unsure how best to go about that. Hi, JJFloyd. You don't need access to the account creation interface in order to use the Account creator right that User:Swarm granted to you. The right allows you to create more than six accounts from the same IP address if your event has a high turnout of people who don't already have an account.   • Yep, I was just coming here to say this. The ACC interface is a specialized tool for handling general account requests from anonymous users. You do not need this for your event, and you already have full access to Special:CreateAccount to directly create any accounts that you need. Swarm 01:55, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
