A tag has been placed on Hari s kartha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

I'd suggest you ignore the deletion notice and keep working on the article. I'll take a look at whatever you've written when I get home from work and try to help format it to Wikipedia's house style. One of the biggest things that a Wikipedia article needs is sources that fit Wikipedia's source policy. The details are at WP:RELY but the main thing is to look for any magazine or newspaper articles that talk about him. It's ok for the sources to be non-English but it will be a little easier to use them if they are English. Best of luck and I hope you stay and contribute more. Hari S. Kartha[edit]

I have reverted your edits and made it a redirect to Janmabhumi. Make sure you read WP:N, WP:V and WP:RS. If you have Reliable and Verifiable sources showing the person's importance, please cite them. Remember that Wikipedia articles are not personal profiles. Thanks Arjuncodename024 16:33, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To keep an article on Wikipedia, everything has to be backed up by reliable sources. That means you have to find something like books, magazine articles, or newspaper articles to back up what you write. (I had added one source to your earlier draft, but I couldn't find references for most of it since I'm in another country and only read English.) Once you have found sources like that I'll be glad to help you format the references, or you can look at WP:REFSTART which is a guide to formatting references.
If you need a space to practice on how to do an article you can use User:Jkanthtl/sandbox to work in. If you do that I'd reccommend putting a note at the top saying that it is a practice space and not an official aricle.Cloveapple (talk) 19:54, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jayakanth TL has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
