Two sources—including allmusic.com, which is accessible online—indicate his birth name is Christian. If you think it should be changed, you will need to provide reliable sources that indicate otherwise. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:36, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is, most of the sources you mentioned—particularly IMDB and tv.com—are not reliable, because they are fan-edited. The interactive CD might suffice as a source, but without being able to see it, I can't assess it. His CMT bio is no help, because it calls him Chris throughout with no full birth name. Ideally, you need to find a reliable source, such as a newspaper or magazine story, that shows his birthname as Christopher Norris. With that, then it's easier to argue that the name should be changed. —C.Fred (talk) 01:50, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've done a little digging. See Talk:Chris Cagle#Birth name. I'm waiting for opinion from other editors. I've also removed his birth name from the lead of the article and tagged the infobox appearance of it as {{dubious}}. —C.Fred (talk) 02:13, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
