You should declare conflicts of interest[edit]

Hello! If you are actually Joel Tenenbaum or his representative, you should make a declaration of your conflict of interest with respect to the Sony BMG v. Tenenbaum and Sony BMG Music Entertainment v. Tenenbaum articles. Your edits so far, since they include external citations, have been mostly fine, so please continue, but expect them to be subjected to extra scrutiny. Some of the less sympathetic editors would pounce and dismiss/delete anything you write as self-serving, and you could be blocked from editing if the offenses are egregious. However, if you follow the advice at WP:CONFLICT and be forthcoming about who you are and declare your intent to be cautious, it generally helps.

Basically, just add a new section called "Conflict of interest declaration" to the talk pages of the two articles. For example, see the one I did for myself at Talk:Denver Roller Dolls#Conflict of interest. Also consider linking to the declaration(s) from User:Joeltenenbaum, in case people don't notice. Thanks! —mjb (talk) 21:38, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
