April 2021[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. -- ferret (talk) 22:21, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"APPLIED PROJECTS ENGINEERING" to "JoesphOLeary"[edit]

"APPLIED PROJECTS ENGINEERING" to "JoesphOLeary" per request --Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:19, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And unblocked. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:21, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Deepfriedokra: Following the rename and unblock, they have created AppliedProjectsEngineering. I'm pondering if a promotional block needs reapplied. I had almost made the original block a spam hard, but decided to be lenient at the time. -- ferret (talk) 17:40, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AppliedProjectsEngineering, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. My attempt here is to create a basic factual representation of the company only. It has not been created as an advertisement. It has been created so no other person can spread misinformation about the company. Please advise what is incorrect and it will be modified as required.

Your article has been moved to draft space so that you can work on bringing it up to the required standard for inclusion and then submit for review by more experienced editors. Deb (talk) 18:21, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I see that you have a connection with the company. You have to declare your conflict of interest on your user page. Deb (talk) 18:31, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
