The West Country Challenge

Hi, hope you don't mind but I've also put your new article in the Wikipedia:WikiProject England/The West Country Challenge list, as it's on topic and we need 20 odd articles to reach 500 articles by the end of today!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:05, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

Dr. Blofeld No problem, I intended to do it myself. Joseph2302 12:11, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
Excellent work. Today's the last day of the Wiltshire contest and overall contest, so I'm trying to do some article work myself to help reach the target!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:17, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Vyash, is the information published in reliable sources such as books, newspapers, magazines? If it is your own knowledge, then Wikipedia cannot accept it, as Wikipedia needs information to be verifiable by reliable sources. Joseph2302 08:32, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

Yes they are verifiable as newspaper articles were published. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.1.205.155 (talk) 04:57, 6 September 2016 (UTC)

I've emailed you. Joseph2302 18:45, 6 September 2016 (UTC)

22:37:07, 8 September 2016 review of submission by 209.93.105.160

Hello Josepth2302,

Thank you for reviewing my first article. Could you give me a little guidance on the notability element? The event was just held again and was well covered in the motoring press, I have attached an article to the references at the bottom of the page. I have found quite a few film festival pages that don't seem to fulfil the notability requirements so am a little confused as to how it all works. Sorry if I seem a bit bumbling, as a beginner it is all quite overwhelming!

Thank you in advance.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.93.105.160 (talkcontribs)

Hi IP user 209.93.105.160. Wikipedia requires significant coverage in multiple reliable sources- was it covered in any general magazines/newspapers, or just motoring magazines? Joseph2302 17:43, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

I believe that you were mistaken in not approving Deon King for move to mainspace. While he does not fit the notability for WP:NGRIDIRON, he does fit the notability criteria under NP:NCOLLATH since he received the Buck Buchanan Award which *is* listed in Template:College football award navbox which is listed in NP:NCOLLATH. And since he did fit that notability criteria, and once notable, always notable.Naraht (talk) 14:03, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

Naraht I assume you mean WP:NCOLLATH, a specific college football guideline I didn't know about. So, I'm happy to accept it. Joseph2302 14:05, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
Yes, I did. And thank you for approving it.Naraht (talk) 17:54, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
