Arrest of Matthew Hedges

Hello, I am new to Wikipedia so please forgive my ignorance on all of this. The Arrest of Matthew Hedges page is full of errors which I have tried to change, but I see now that these changes have not been accepted for various reasons including the sources. The problem is, a lot of the sources used are news stories which contain wrong information themselves. For example, his occupation. He is a PhD student, not a cyber intelligence analyst. How do you recommend we ensure the correct information is on the page even though some sources contain the wrong information and are being used as proof of a fact? Your help is much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eisseiss (talkcontribs) 11:10, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Confused - Rachel Dübendorfer

In the "Did You Know" of 2/23 this sentence is presented:

"... that during the Second World War, Rachel Dübendorfer was part of a spy ring which transmitted German military information to the Soviet Union"

Then, in the Wikipedia article "Rachel Dübendorfer", at the very end, there are these 3 sentences:

"As leader, Dübendorfer tried unsuccessfully to contact Moscow through Hermina Rabinovitch"

Then, confusion:

"Dübendorfer refused to co-operate with Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, and did not want to send information back to Moscow"

"She provided information to MI6 officers in Switzerland, under the proviso that this information was not shared with Moscow"

The entire Wikipedia communiqué on Rachel Dübendorfer gives the impression she is noteworthy for collaborating with the Soviet Union during WWII. But the final impression, made only at the end, is Rachel Dübendorfer did NOT want to collaborate with the Soviet Union.

Did she share information with Moscow, or did she not? What changed and when? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pgraesser (talkcontribs) 16:47, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

This isn't the DYK hook I suggested, and it's been corrupted. No, she didn't collaborate with the USSR, the article is clear about that, but someone corrupted the hook to say that she did. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:38, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
I've asked at WP:ERRORS for a fix to this hook, but not hopeful they'll do it, since admins seem to be a law unto themselves....... Joseph2302 (talk) 18:52, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
