November 2020[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Alan Thompson (footballer, born 1952) article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article.

However, in the absence of such a source then we use the sources available. Claiming to speak to the subject is insufficient I am afraid. You should also not edit the article again per WP:BRD, but instead discuss on the article talk page.

Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 20:01, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia relies on Verifiability, not truth. There are no sources presented showing Allan - though I have just found this - and no explanation for why so many would be wrong. I suggest you use the WP:RM process to seek to move the article. GiantSnowman 21:14, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
