Edit Summary Request[edit]

I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 07:10, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bawmwang La Raw moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Bawmwang La Raw, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bawmwang La Raw requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – NJD-DE (talk) 20:52, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

Hello Kachinland. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Kachin National Organisation, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Kachinland. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kachinland|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. – NJD-DE (talk) 21:05, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Note: no paid editing NJD-DE! I am creating pages voluntarily for free of charge for the Wikipedia users who interest in the Kachin National Organisation. Thank you.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kachin National Organisation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from kachinnation.org and kachinnation.org/where-we-stand. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

– NJD-DE (talk) 21:11, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

article space is not a talkpage to request undeletion

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

Hi NJD-DE,

As your first impression “paid content creator” I am not getting any penny for creating that page.

To review Speedy Deletion request was directed from the link you provide.

I would be appreciate if you leave the page with appropriately quoted the sources in the reference section.

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. No matter how strongly you feel that a political or social cause is justified, Wikipedia isn't the place to publicise it. Also please do take note of the content of the messages you have received from editors expressing concerns about your editing, especially those referring to copyright. If you continue to edit in ways incompatible with Wikipedia policies and guidelines there is a danger that you may be blocked from editing by a Wikipedia administrator. JBW (talk) 09:54, 26 November

Hi,

Instead of constructive and help to create excellent article you vandalised the whole page by deleting it. Your expertise is with such limitation instead of helping. Why you give Wikipedia space for the terrorist organisation- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatmadaw / https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myanmar_Army if not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion also similar page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_National_Union ? Could you justify?

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Myanmar Army, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Do not blank other pages to make a point.C.Fred (talk) 15:08, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
