April 2013[edit]

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Kailash Chandra Meher. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello Kailash Chandra Meher,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Prakash Meher, may be copied from http://pkmeher15.blogspot.com/2013/03/prakash-kumar-meher-artists-profile.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 18:34, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles, such as the edit you made to Prakash Meher. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. -- Atlantima ~~ (talk) 17:56, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Prakash Meher, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. If you continue to remove the tags, then I will bring this up with administrators.-- Atlantima ~~ (talk) 13:59, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
