If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ChamberMaster requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. EvergreenFir (talk) 16:33, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from ChamberMaster, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Again, do not remove the template. EvergreenFir (talk) 17:23, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at ChamberMaster, you may be blocked from editing. I've asked you not to remove that template 2 times now. EvergreenFir (talk) 19:31, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't mean to be disruptive with my editing. I'm just learning how Wikipedia's editing works and must not have been doing it correctly. The wiki system is not very clear, to be honest. I didn't mean to remove any templates you had set up. Kaleesto (talk) 20:08, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Userfied the data

[edit]

Hi, I've userfied the article at User:Kaleesto/ChamberMaster so you can work on it.

I'll be very honest and say that this article came across as very, very promotional. The first problem is that you hotlink to the website for ChamberMaster and its parent company MicroNet. Hotlinking in this fashion is sort of borderline spamming and the only place that links for the company should be placed is at the bottom. I'd recommend removing all of the links overall and only placing the link for MicroNet at the bottom since their website's home page directly mentions both products. As far as what came across promotional other than that, the page was written up like a product site that you'd see on a company's website. It needs to be more neutral in tone and come across a little less like a product page. We also need sources. Linking to other Wikipedia pages doesn't show notability for the product, which is what is needed to pass notability guidelines as a whole, which is part of the reason your page was nominated for deletion.

What I'd probably recommend instead is that you look to see if the parent company MicroNet has received enough coverage to merit an entry on Wikipedia. Make sure that it has enough coverage to pass WP:CORP, as we cannot keep an article that doesn't pass these guidelines. I was tempted to delete this all outright, but you've shown that you're willing to work on the issues so I wanted to give you a copy of the information to pull from when you re-write the article.
