Regarding your questions: the first thing about the gibberish was apparently just somebody playing around... It wasn't the sandbox, actually, but instead somebody had created a template. As an administrator, I was able to just delete it, but a regular user would have to post it on Wikipedia:Templates for deletion. The second question, FARC stands for "featured article removal candidate". As you probably know, a small subset of our articles are designated as "featured", indicating that they represent some of our best work. Over time, however, the quality of articles may decay, and such an article might me defeatured. I hope that I answered your questions. :) Cheers! – ClockworkSoul 17:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
