Oh! Please don't make too much of it, it is generated by a standard template - {{Welcome}} Yogesh Khandke (talk) 16:10, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Remember that when adding medical content please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 06:38, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Doc James - do you consider The Journal of Family Practice a bad source? Please justify if you do. Yogesh Khandke (talk) 14:57, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I see that it has been cited 83 times.[1] Yogesh Khandke (talk) 15:01, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I can add many other sources for the same conclusion, as this is getting to be such a broadly known and medically accepted fact that it is cited in multiple medical journals and articles. Thank you for the support as I navigate my way in Wikipedia and hone my skills. I am objective and only am interested in facts, not bias. Thank you. Karyn Swaney (talk) 15:27, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Doc James I would add that to leave this factual, well-known, easily further sourced preventative measure out is a disservice to both the medical profession and the people who are seeking facts and evidence-based conclusions to take better care of themselves and their families. Thanks again.Karyn Swaney (talk) 15:43, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Karyn Swaney - if you think there are many wp:RS or rather high-quality reliable sources please use the article talk page to propose the edit with sources supporting it. Then the same may added to the article if the consensus agrees with it. Yogesh Khandke (talk) 16:08, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yogesh Khandke Will do. Thanks again for the direction! Karyn Swaney (talk) 16:14, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We are looking for secondary sources not primary sources such as the one you added. Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:54, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Doc James I have entered further data and sources on MI talk page and am seeking further feedback to supply this easily-evidenced conclusion. Please bear in mind I am new to Wikipedia and have not used a lot of codes and such though I am learning fast. Be patient with mistakes I may make in format as I watch and learn.Karyn Swaney (talk) 18:00, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contribution[edit]

Hello, I was hoping with your medical knowledge of the plant based diet, if you would consider contributing to the Hippocrates Health Institute page as it is in need of additional sources. Thank you MadamAccuracy (talk) 18:07, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
