Maintenance tags[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. I think there is scope to improve the article you started at Zakoora And Tengpora Massacre‎. Please leave the tags in place until that improvement has taken place. - EronTalk 19:48, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please SLOW DOWN. There is a good article in here waiting to be brought out, but it may take some time. Simply adding in the army's point of view does not necessarily address the POV concerns. I'd like to help edit this article but you've got to be willing to take some time for the issues to be dealt with. - EronTalk 20:31, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Doodhipora killing, 2006, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. In the mean time I will also search their archives... Print cannot be used unless its published book. Also dont be over zealous in article and give others a chance to add NPOV. I must appreciate you. Kashmir Conflict[edit]

The timeline with the article summarizes the main events usually in a sentence and needs to stay. in the main article a little bit more detail of all major incidents should be provided. day to day incidents really don't belong in a timeline or WP for that matter. i can help expand the main article when I get some timeWikireader41 (talk) 20:53, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Zaid Hamid[edit]

I removed most of the content from this article because it was either unsourced or sourced unreliably (e.g. to blogs, YouTube etc.) That would have been sufficient but there was additionally inclusion of material of disproportionate weight to the subject.

Please do not restore all this unsourced material, as you did in this edit: [1] unless you are prepared to provide good sources for all the text you are adding.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 18:24, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Devanagari - Perso-Arabic - Latin automatic transliteration of Kashmiri Wikipedia[edit]

We are about to set Devanagari - Perso-Arabic - Latin automatic transliteration of Kashmiri Wikipedia on the same principle as it works in Kazakh Wikipedia. (see more info, Kazakh converter)

However we need an Kashmiri native speaker to help us write the comparative table with letters and transliteration rules. Then we can create such converter.

If you wish to help us, contact us.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani[edit]

Can you do something about this article, it sounds like it tells half side of the story, and am not familiar with kashmiri politics to tell the other side of the story. The article makes India sound as harsh as Israel was with Arafat, completely without other side of the story, like his encouragement of violence. Lilaac (talk) 18:33, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Quit Kashmir Movement[edit]

Would it be possible for you to provide a transliteration of Jammu Kashmir Chood Do Tehreek (Urdu/Kashmiri) in the Nastaliq script? Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 14:06, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Page titles[edit]

I see that another user recently copied and pasted the text of Quit Kashmir Movement (2010) into a new article entitled 2010 Kashmir unrest, and that you then tried to reverse this by cutting and pasting back to the original title. Although I know this was well-intentioned, it was not the correct process for resolving the incorrect move. Copying and pasting article text splits the article's history, which is necessary for author attribution and copyright purposes. If you find an article that has been improperly copied, you need to request an administrator's assistance to revert the move correctly at WP:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 13:45, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2010 Kashmir unrest[edit]

The issue of whether to rename the article previously known as 'Quit Kashmir Movement' was discussed and the result of discussion was an approval for moving it. The discussion can be viewed in the article's talk page. Please stop recreating that page again and again. Also, many of the instances presented by you in the article has references which are either highly biased towards the separatist side or consists of original research. Please refrain from presenting only a single side of the story. You can help improve the article but neutrality must be preserved. Neutrality is atmost importance. June 2012[edit]

Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. DBigXray 10:47, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Kashmirspeaks/Project Kashmir Conflict requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 16:36, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
