Welcome new user

[edit]

Hello, User:KidLotus , I see you've opened an account and begun to make edits to the encyclopaedia. You are most welcome and thank you for the constructive edits you have made. Here's a standard welcome box with lots of useful links. I hope you get pleasure from editing and making Wikipedia an even better resource for the community.

Wikipedia encourages new members to jump in and make corrections and contributions to articles. I myself found the Be bold guideline particularly encouraging when I was getting started. I also found the Wikipedia:Cheatsheet a useful quick reference for editing text.

If you have any questions about the project don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page here :-User_talk:Lumos3.

Happy editing,

Rudolf Steiner's biography

[edit]

Thanks for your work on Steiner's biography! I've tried to weave some of your additions more organically into the existing text, I hope successfully, and also to condense the text where possible, as this is meant to be just a brief introduction. (Thus the reference to the Barr document, which I've removed, could go back as a footnote sourcing the information, but is probably unneeded for the casual reader interested in an overview of a person's life.) Feel free to let me know if you have any editing questions here or elsewhere - it's a complicated Wikiverse out there! hgilbert (talk) 09:51, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Misha Norland

[edit]

I just thought I'd let you know that I saw your article Misha Norland in the New Articles list-- The information is presented clearly and is easy to understand. However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors: the references in the article do not follow Wikipedia guidelines. There is a tutorial on formatting citations at Wikipedia:Referencing. It would be great if you could also improve the related article Emily Ward. Amy Z (talk) 20:06, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Misha Norland has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. andy (talk) 10:31, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about School of Homeopathy

[edit]

Hello, KidLotus, and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia!

I wanted to let you know that some editors are discussing at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/School of Homeopathy whether the article School of Homeopathy should be in Wikipedia. I encourage you to comment there if you think the article should be kept in the encyclopedia.

The deletion discussion doesn't mean you did something wrong. In fact, other editors may have useful suggestions on how you can continue editing and improving School of Homeopathy, which I encourage you to do. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the Help Desk.

Thanks again for your contributions! andy (talk) 14:50, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
