2023 FC Tokyo season moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to 2023 FC Tokyo season. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it is a nearly blank article with no sourcing. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ULPS (talk) 22:14, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cut and paste editing[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2023 FC Tokyo season. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as 2023 Canada Cup, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, KimSumi21,
There are editors who have been active for 10 years who don't have as many warning messages as you have accumulated in just a week. Please do not create unsourced articles in main space. You are getting closed to getting blocked. Liz Read! Talk! 01:32, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Tomohiro Machiyama’s Getting to know America’s “Now”Television In association with CNN, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Please stop removing the article for deletion notice. Joyous! Noise! 17:43, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article 2024 Suwon JS Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Draft:2024 Suwon JS Cup created by same editor says it's to prepare for the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup; this one says it's for the 2024 Summer Olympics. I can find nothing about it online. WP:TOOSOON at best.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 2A00:23EE:16A8:C58:6836:22FF:FE30:62BD (talk) 07:25, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
