Vandalization of user pages

Please do not target one or more user's pages or talk pages for abuse or insults, unwarranted doctoring or blanking. It can be seen as vandalism and may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 14:14, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

You have removed several user warning templates from your user or user talk page. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed here because other editors have noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. If you do not believe the warning was valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. If your talk page is becoming long, you can archive it in accordance with the guidelines laid out here How to archive a talk page. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 07:14, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Celebrity 1791.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Celebrity 1791.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The following image you uploaded also lack a detailed fair use rationale:
See WP:IDP for an example of how to write a fair use rationale, but note that copyright photos of living celebrities are rarely usable under Wikipedia's fair use policy as a free equivalent could reasonably be created. --Muchness 12:40, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been blocked for your continued violations of Wikipedia image copyright and fair-use policies. You are welcome to resume editing once your block expires but please refrain from uploading any more images until you have provided the mandatory information for the images you have already uploaded. Also, once again, you may only use freely-licensed, not fair-use, images to depict living people. --Yamla 15:26, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Alessandra Ambrosio

You said: "[1]<<<<<< Click on this link smartass you will see this picture on this website."

Okay, it is important to specify correct sources for images. I have deleted this particular image because it violates WP:FU. That is, it is a fair-use image used solely to depict a living person. --Yamla 11:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Fun with templates

Hi, King Lopez. I'm glad that you're having fun with the various templates. You may want to clear them up after a while, or someone might think you had actually been warned and/or blocked for all those offences. Also, you should be careful with some of those templates: some (like {{Zombie proxy}}) will add the page they're on to a category monitored by Wikipedians keeping track of troublesome users. I've removed the category (in this case, Category:Zombie proxies blocked on Wikipedia), but in future you should try not to use templates that include categories. Anyway, I hope you enjoy working on Wikipedia. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 07:25, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Testing

Please test using a sandbox, not on your Talk page. Whether it was your intention or not, it makes matters very confusing for other editors. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 14:24, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Stop replacing the templates on this page; this can't possibly count as a test (it's unclear how their original use was either, in fact), and appears to be disruption for the sake of it. If you continue to behave in this way, you may be blocked from editing. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:06, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Warning

Do not use alternate accounts to give yourself barnstars that you do not deserve, do not misrepresent the number of edits you have done, and do not remove the sockpuppet tag from your user page. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 04:27, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
