Dear Koroosh!

Thanks for your edits on List of maraji but I think you mixed up transliterations of ق & غ ; You replaced gh with q even for غ where its quite incorrect. Actually I think you took tip from my edit(of two common names) where I replaced gh with 'q' but it was for ق.

Actually in simple English transliteration,

  • قQ
  • غGh

I'm listing few of your changes to show you the difference:

S.N. in list Previous Changed Correct/Incorrect
1 Gharavi Qaravi Incorrect because it is غروي i.e. with غ
4 Asghar Asqar Incorrect because it is اصغر i.e. with غ
6 Dastgheib Dastqeib Incorrect because it is دستغیب i.e. with غ
9 Faghih Faqih Correct because it is فقيه i.e. with ق
25 Sadoughi Sadouqi Correct because it is صدوقی i.e. with ق

There is general consensus regarding spelling of names of maraji, which is as follows:

Name column will:
  • list Names as is said on official websites
  • include standardized transliteration of name accompanying Arabic text (at start simple transliteration following by gradual up-gradation to one with Umlauts & Diaeresis)
  • Common names should also be listed (for purpose of ordering)
This will be arranged as following:
  • With horizontal lines in cell, Common name(English | Arabic) at top then English in Mid & Arabic below
with this arrangement the Name column will look as:

For details you can refer - Talk:List_of_maraji#Consensus.

If you have any confusion or clarification you can contact me.

File source problem with File:GrandAyatollahGasemTaei.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:GrandAyatollahGasemTaei.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:53, 15 February 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 10:53, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

You blocked me indefinitely because of the uploading the pictures. I thought I used the correct License, but it seems it was not. You mentioned to the user “Mitra20000” who is one my friends. I do not understand what is the reason of indefinite blocking (and not a just definite blocking)? If I have made some mistakes in putting the correct License for the pictures, I should be blocked definitely. You can check my contributions during the last month that I joined Wikipedia. I had many editing and creating new pages without any problems. Please, change your decision about this blocking. Regards ---Koroosh1986 (talk) 14:27, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

So, you and Mitra are acquainted? See WP:MEAT then. — Daniel Case (talk) 14:44, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

A tag has been placed on Mohammad Amin Mamaqani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
