Hi Sir! Please take a look at Kamma (caste). Tried to re-format and reversed the edits of some vandals. Also, removed some tags by re-phrasing, formatting and adding references. Hope you'll like it. ---AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 02:27, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Kumarrao! Pls take a look at Kamma (caste). I've inserted an image. --AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 18:16, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Kumarrao! Hope you are doing well. The person between KCP and Lakshmi Mills is Lagadapati Rajagopal & the one between Ramoji Rao and Narain Karthikeyan is Makineni Basavapunnaiah (CPI(M).) Not sure about Savitri but a Balija-doctor-neighbour of her's told us that she was a Kamma. Her maiden surname Kommareddy is also found among Kammas (not sure about Balijas.) I'll try getting that image deletion reversed as I'm the creator of that image. Just returned today after a 20 day trip to Guntur. --AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 18:32, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So what is Savitri's surname going by that birth certificate. --AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 12:06, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Kumarrao, Please keep away from self boasting about your Caste and vandalizing others. Please do make changes to Balakrishna and Sr. NTR on their movies but don't try to shovel your ideas into others. We all know what Kammas are capable of (citation:Refer balakrishna'spage). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.207.58.223 (talk) 02:24, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kumarroa, As per your first comment, you have made vandalism to the Reddy article while elevating your own Caste, Kamma.

As per your comment regarding Paritala, Kollur Mine are located in Guntur District but not in whatever place was mentioned, So the entire article and what meager references provided were itself based on that false presumption. Also there is no evidence of Kohinoor being mined in Kollur Mines. The first mention of Kohinoor was in 14th Century while Kollur Mines existed between 16th and 19th Centuries.

As of your threat regarding being blocked, Wikipedia is a source of information and not your personal website, do not dilute its quality with baseless information and wrong references. Even if its true, an IP is a very dynamic entity, if you ban one, another will sprout in its place, to correct any false information. Please discuss regarding your points in the talk page 'with' references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.207.58.223 (talk) 21:25, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed enough vandalism to Naidu page done by some casteists. Please keep a watch on the page.

The only reliable source for caste affiliation of Thanjavur Nayaks and Madurai Nayaks is Balijavaru Puranam by Shri SP Narasimhulu Naidu. For Veerapandiya Kattabomman, there are proofs that he belongs to Rajakambalam branch of Balija caste.Krishnadeva Raya is not a Balija as per my knowledge. He belongs to Bunt community of Mangalore.Of course,Naidu and Reddy are titles and not caste names.

The Defender of the Wiki Barnstar
I really appreciate you for the courage you have shown in you lonely battle to defend and safeguard the articles Telugu script and Telugu Language. That should be the spirit.I wish all the very best in you wikipedian Endeavours. Bsskchaitanya (talk) 12:53, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I observed that this chaotic article has lot of fights related to whether Reddy is a social group or a honorary title.Reddy denotes a social grouping of many castes and is also used by communities like Kammas,Yadavas,Agnikula Kshatriyas and Vokkaligas as a title to denote a Village Headman.I presently have requested a move to Reddy(Social Group) to avoid further fights.Give your view on the talk page.-Raghavan(Talk) 12:24, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages are not forums[edit]

Please do not use talk pages such as Talk:Timur and Talk:2010 Pakistan floods for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Kammas in Business[edit]

A lot of Kamma Nayaks in Coimbatore and Salem regions have developed the region with a number of small scale industries.Few major companies owned by Kammas are KG Group(IT),Lakshmi Mills,Suguna Group,Pricol etc.I know only a few prominent people like GD Naidu,GK Naidu,KG Balakrishnan etc.Other than this,Kammas also have business in Chennai, notably the Prasad Group which provides shooting facilities and visual effects for Kollywood. It was founded by the late Akkineni LV Prasad and now is managed by his family.I suggest you start a section on this in the Kamma page.-Raghavan(Talk) 17:15, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I started this article and wrote something about the Tamil Districts.Add information about the Telugu Districts and get some district records of the British Period.-Raghavan(Talk) 15:18, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please start work soon on the Telugu Districts.I don't have much knowledge on them.-Raghavan(Talk) 14:52, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Avoid Caste Biased writing[edit]

Dear Kumarrao,

I have been observing since long that You always write Kamma Caste oriented wikis. You wrote your biased writings against Reddys, Rajus, Velamaa & Kapus. I have never written against any caste or do encourage it. If I follow your narrow minded theory, Then Kammas caste status shall be clearly mentioned as Shudras. Agreed Kammas supported Kshatriya Rajus in medieval period. At same time I can provide ample inscriptions/citations on Kammas caste mostly being mentioned as Cucunbines of Kshatriyas (Kota Kings, Chalukyas, Chagis, & Kakatiyas). Inscription clearly mention about such kamma nayaks, So as per your theory you should clearly write this point as it is of significance.

You are the one who glorifies Kammas (even if in history it is not a glorified community) but deglorifies respected communities like Rajus, Reddys n Velamas.

Plz try to be unbiased towards other communities, I can also poke into other communities but I only believ in adding Value to them.

Cheers Indianprithvi (talk) 16:52, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Kumarrao, Learn to respect discussion and Majority historians opinion. I am not a caste fanatic like you r your co-caste fanatic friend. I have seen lot of people complaining against you two guys fo your Kamma fanatism, plz avoid that and respect proper history instead of your kamma history. You try to implement one logic to Kamma caste and another logic to other castes of AP. There are several inscriptions of 12-14th century wher kamma women have been described as Cucunbines of Kshatriya Rajus, refer to them in AP libraries.almost Every caste in AP acknowledges this. Though I dont hav hatred against any castes, your behaviour forced me to write this truth. As this is an imp point Please include it in your Kamma caste page then I will also respect your writings. I have clearly answered and justified why your line on Rajus is totally baseless, try to prove my points/references as wrong. then we can agree ab controversy. I dont know why you always come up with some baseless points and when I clarify you jump from ther.

Plz stop narrow minded edits[edit]

Mr Kumarrao,

Who puts contradictary/ half knowledged statements, this can be easily verified from Wiki History. For you kind info I gave 6 clear justifications/evidences on the discussion page Talk:Rajus itself. Before making any change I always justified with proper citations, you have accepted them most, even I have accepted yours when there was a logic/rational. I have clearly given the citations/justification for your edits and clearly justified why they were baseless. on contrary you never justified with proper citation to questions and even reverted mine/other editors edits just like that. It clearly tells who is narrow minded. You never gave me justification in regard to: 1) when Kamma as caste came (historians say its 12-13th century only) 2) You never respected Shakuntala devi's clear statement on Kota kings.

I also asked you to read complete descriptions in Historian books as some times there is confusion. Reg reference to inscription: I never intended to offend any caste, it was just ref to som odd inscription, You only clearly stated several times, only Kammas supported Kshatriya Rajus during medieval while Velamas were rivalries and also basing on region (Kammanadu-Guntur), I refered that. I never put these kinda stuff in wiki page, it was just for your ref only, just to tell odd inscripts exist.

I again Reiterate that I restrict to few wiki page just because I believe in putting Genuine/Logical content, it doesnot mean castist. I dont believ in putting half baked theories like you in another group/communities, I put it when it 100% sure only.

Applying one theory for one caste and another theory for others is a castiest attitude which you hav been following may be UNKNOWINGLY. My point is well supported by guys of Reddy & Kapu community who branded you as caste biased and not by me initially. Indianprithvi (talk) 18:00, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In Telugu some saying is ther "Gulivinta poosa avatali vaalni vekirinchidanta" . It makes me laugh when a person who doesnt stick to a logic talks about logics. :) Indianprithvi (talk) 18:23, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
