Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I did not delete these three articles. The context is obvious -- it's a list of prisons in a particular country. We do not speedy delete very short articles if we can tell what they are about.

However, these lists are not very likely to be kept, unless you do some further work on them. Are they complete? How can you tell? Do you have references for what the total list is? And the ones without WP articles shouldget them written. A list with only 1 item on it is particualrly unlikely to be kept in WP. DGG ( talk ) 00:17, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kuyi123w,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, BayView Hospital, may have something copied from http://www.bayviewhospital.com.bb/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Stop[edit]

Please stop with your creation of lists of prisons immediately. I understand that you are trying to help, but the way in which you are going about it is very disruptive, and is really more destructive than it is productive. Take some time to read over our policies, and perhaps start a discussion on Talk:List of prisons about how such a seperation can be done properly before continuing to edit--Jac16888 Talk 17:41, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am asking you again to please pay attention and stop what you are doing. If you continue to ignore the considerable number of notices on this page I will have no choice but to block you, if only to get your attention--Jac16888 Talk 22:17, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking[edit]

I appreciate that you are trying to improve various articles by adding links, but I would suggest reading WP:OVERLINK and WP:REDLINK. In particular, it is usually not helpful to link to common words or to an article that is not likely to be created. In this edit, for example, most of the links you added were either to an incorrect article or to a nonnotable subject, and the links to Michigan, nationally, campus, and public schools are not needed in my opinion. TimBentley (talk) 04:40, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly you still don't understand when adding links is appropriate. In [1], linking the names was as obviously incorrect as linking can get, and obviously you didn't preview or look at the infobox after the edit since the link to Premier of Prince Edward Island was messed up, and I suspect at least one of the other links was incorrectly added. Please don't keep adding links if you don't know when it's appropriate. TimBentley (talk) 19:09, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Web NDL Authorities, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Vigyani (talk) 16:04, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I'm very sorry to have had to do this Kuyi123w, but you continue to make poor edits and have failed to respond to the dozens of messages asking you to stop, nor have you given any indication that you have took notice of them. In an attempt to get your attention I have blocked this account - please note this is not a punishment, I simply trying to get you to stop what are you doing and read some policies and guidelines so as to be more productive and less destructive. I will be happy to unblock you right away, I just need to actually reply and show that you will start paying attention to what you are being told--Jac16888 Talk 16:59, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you had responded to this message during your block to show that you understand what you are being told I would have been happy to unblock you - the fact you started editing again so soon after your block expired makes it clear you were aware of it. Please note that if you resume your previous pattern of edits that are more destructive than helpful I will have no choice but to block you for a longer period--Jac16888 Talk 18:49, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
For example please read the documentation at Template:Portal bar - not every page should have a bar portal template--Jac16888 Talk 18:50, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lucinda Southworth[edit]

I see that you have restored the article on Lucinda Southworth after I restored the redirect to Larry Page, which was created as a result of the merge decision resulting from the previous deletion discussion on this article: see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lucinda Southworth. Can I ask on what grounds you have seen fit to ignore the decision? Are you suggesting that this individual meets the relevant notability guidelines? Unless you can provide evidence that this person is independently notable, I will restore the redirect. The AfD decision was clear, and you cannot unilaterally override it on a whim. AndyTheGrump (talk) 04:21, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Since you have chosen to ignore my comment above, and have continued to edit the Lucinda Southworth article, I have raised your behaviour with admin Jac16888, who blocked you earlier. See User talk:Jac16888#User:Kuyi123w. AndyTheGrump (talk) 05:38, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This page was redirected to Larry Page by consensus following a discussion in 2010. See Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Lucinda_Southworth. If you think that facts are sufficiently different to warrant creation of a separate article, please take it up at Talk:Larry Page. Do not restore the article text again. Thanks. April 2013[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Berlin. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges.

The article Valentina De Poli has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kuyi123w, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
