Sarah Mulroy[edit]

I have had my attention drawn to your article, and would like to offer you some advice. Wikipedia has a strict policy on copyright. As Wikipedia is licensed under Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 3.0 FOR for free use anywhere by anyone, we cannot allow text that is copyright and is not so licensed to be posted here. This includes very close paraphrasing of text. I notice that you have made an effort to rewrite from the original, but I feel that you are still too close for comfort. I am not deleting your article, but I am moving it into your userspace (User:Kylirene/DRAFT) for more work. The referencing needs attention as well. Please see WP:BIO about notability, and WP:RS about reliable independent sources. The profile you have used can be linked, but it is not independent and cannot show notability. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, either on my talk page, or Antiqueight's, or by putting {{helpme}} with a question on your talk page (with a link to the draft) or on a new talk page for the draft. I'm sorry that it's not as easy here as posting on Facebook, but this is an encyclopaedia and we have a lot more rules than they do. Peridon (talk) 10:18, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes - please do come by and ask anything - I'm fairly new too and learning the ropes. I make plenty of mistakes and editors like Peridon have been very helpful when I'm not sure of something. When I'm not sure if something is right or not I tend to ask more experienced editors. I also tend to use the IRC channel at #wikipedia-en-help which I get to through Wikipedia:Help desk.-- 🍺 Antiqueight confer 10:49, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:This figure shows the publication trend of scientific article related to "balance and aging" research.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File:Number of Publications from 1984 to 2013.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Number of Publications from 1984 to 2013.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:53, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Number of Publications from 1984 to 2013.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
