Welcome to Wikipedia, LEKReports! Thank you for your contributions. This is an encyclopedia, so remember that it's a necessity to include references listing reliable websites, newspapers, articles, books and other sources you have used to write or expand articles. However, you must not copy and paste text you find anywhere, except for short quotations, marked as such with quote marks and carefully cited to the source the quote was taken from. New articles and statements added to existing articles may be deleted by others if unreferenced or referenced poorly or if they are copyright violations. July 2021

[edit]

Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I noticed that in this edit to Amharic, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|talk 04:28, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Amharic. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ... discospinster talk 21:27, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Ethiopia. All changes to facts already stated on the page need to come with new reliable sources. Right now you apparently still don't know how to work on Wikipedia. Please read up on the rules before making any further edits, or you will find yourself blocked from all pages, and for much longer. LandLing 22:56, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Amharic) for a period of 36 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ... discospinster talk 21:29, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop changing historical birth place

[edit]

Please stop seriously changing birth place of Mahmoud Ahmed with Ethiopian Empire. He was born at the time of Italy annexed East Africa on May 8, 1941, where Italian regime was ended on November 27, 1941 as British forces liberated Ethiopians with pushback in 1941. Please refer Ethiopian history and World War II. You do so in Tilahun Gessesse and your action will bring us to conflict and other third party may impose sanction in both topics and us. So let us discuss here. The Supermind (talk) 18:16, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@LEKReports: Hey, You should seriously stop changing the birth place name and I told you to discuss in your talk page. Persistent changing without discussion will cause you block from editing, or I will request the page for protection. Discuss here. The Supermind (talk) 08:10, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Low Ethiopian Reports and your username

[edit]

I notice a few issues having seem the creation of The Low Ethiopian Reports and your attempt to blank Draft:The Low Ethiopian Reports.

I am concerned now, not only that you have a conflict of interest, but that your username is in violation of the username policy, specifically the prohibition against using the name of an organization or company as an account name. —C.Fred (talk) 20:59, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Orange Mike | Talk 23:32, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
