The Editor's Barnstar
Thank you for expanding Robert De Niro. Nice Work! ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 12:36, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I second the motion. Take a look at Talk:Robert_De_Niro/GA1, address the issues and file a GA2 version. Ping me and I'll review. Binksternet (talk) 23:08, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's a 3+ million view article annually. Binksternet (talk) 23:08, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Binksternet for reviewing the article. I was aware it was nominated by a non-major contributor, but there were issues all over the article anyway, so I was happy to let that person deal with it (if they actually cared). Anyway, I did make improvements to De Niro's article as per your review. I do want to nominate it for GA again once it's reached the minimum level of quality. I'll be keen to know what other things need to be addressed. Thanks. L150 17:01, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great improvement! Let's do the GA nom and I'll run a comb through it again. We will stick it out until it's listed. (I almost never fail a GA nom. I prefer to work with people and get the articles up.) Binksternet (talk) 17:46, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Binksternet, thanks the article has been renominated Talk:Robert_De_Niro. I'll wait until feedback is received before editing the article again. L150 18:29, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keanu Reeves[edit]

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Keanu Reeves has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Best of luck moving forward with the GAN.

Regards,

Twofingered Typist (talk) 13:29, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, can you guys please consider leaving Keanu's 'Partner Section' blank until he confirms a relationship?

Tabloid stories should never be used as confirmation.

Also the Partner Section, needs to be specially reserved for Spouses or confirmed Life Partners. He has had many serious long term girlfriends, we can't list all of a person's girlfriends/boyfriends, this should be reserved for Special Significant Others only.

Thank you. AshleyVeritas (talk) 20:23, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your FAC comments, now all addressed ( I hope). Amitchell125 (talk) 20:53, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alt text[edit]

Hi Lizzy, thanks for trying to add alt text to Jim Thorpe. However, alt text should not be exactly the same as the caption ... it should provide information that the caption doesn't; see the relevant guideline. As a screen reader user myself I'm not the biggest fan of the "refer to caption" solution, so I've removed the alt text. Also, please don't blank out your talk page, like you have in the past; archiving it is far more common for established editors. Graham87 07:41, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Robert De Niro[edit]

On 7 October 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Robert De Niro, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that actor Robert De Niro gained 60 pounds (27 kg) and trained as a boxer for a year to portray Jake LaMotta in Raging Bull? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Robert De Niro. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Robert De Niro), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Chris Evans[edit]

Just saw your note, do your thing.

I do think that regarding the headings my last edit is the better one. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chris_Evans_(actor)&diff=983952972&oldid=983951219

1997–2005: Early roles to Hollywood breakthrough I do think that the first Fantastic 4 establishes him as a Hollywood actor, and the beginning of him acting mostly in major comic book adaptations.

2007–2010: Comic book films, to international stardom The first Captain America establishes him as a major leading men, not just an actor among an ensemble cast.

2011– to present: Subsequent success and directorial debut His career is stable with success

I personally prefer it when the years are separated. So gluing the 2001 films to the previous paragraph I do not like. Also having the first and second Fantastic 4 glued together.

Anyways just do your thing, I won't interfere in the structure, just saw some credits missing earlier and fixed them.

Best to you and good luck.Filmman3000 (talk) 19:21, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
