A tag has been placed on Linda Christas College prefix:Wikipedia:Deletion review, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. noq (talk) 07:49, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent post.[edit]

In regards to your recent post:

What will it take to have this legitimate institution admitted to the Wikipedia family of schools? Seems as though hundreds of schools of the traditional type are admitted routinely. However, any institution on the cutting edge of education suffers at Wikipedia's hands.

Do you really believe that Dr. Davies would suffer his image to appear on the School's site if Linda Christas were not a verifiable entity?

The fact that editors without knowledge of the School deleted it before has nothing to do with its merit. Please do not delete this school without at least contacting me and giving me an opportunity to speak with someone possessing an open mind regarding our College.

Dr. DeSoleil, Chair, Physics Department Linda Christas College

First of all, as far as I can determine, absolutely no reliable independent sources exist for the organisation, so no article can exist. For example, I can't get any verification that *you* exist, that there is a physics department or well... anything. Something you need to understand is that there is no hierarchy at wikipedia, there is nobody who decide that it's ok to have an article without sources and override the rest of us - if you try and create an article without reliable independent sources, it will simply be deleted again. --Cameron Scott (talk) 16:01, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Page Protection[edit]

Me again, in regards to page protection - there is nothing to protect. There is no article on the college and Linda Christas College has been 'salted', this means that it has been locked so that the article cannot be recreated. --Cameron Scott (talk) 16:21, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
